2026 – today
Full-time freelance gimbal & remote head operator & technician. Own packages, partner access to Movi XL and Motocrane Titan LT.
2022 – 2026
Co-ran a high-end camera rental in Zurich. Four years of building camera setups, testing, fixing and troubleshooting gimbals and remote heads.
2018 – 2022
1st AC. Focus pulling took over. Learned how gimbals fit into a camera department, from the AC's side.
2016 – 2018
Gimbal operator and DP on small projects.

How I work

PreproductionCamera package with DP and AC, shots with DP and director. The rig is put together specifically for the project.
Prep dayGimbal and camera package prepped and balanced. The AC can focus on their own tasks, I prep the gimbal.
On setHandheld, car rig, crane, hand-offs. Switching tools and operating is my job and the ACs can fully concentrate on the camera and pulling focus.
ProblemsGimbals are complex tools. Prepro and prep keeps the risk low, but shit happens, and then I fix it. Ten years of troubleshooting, the right tools and backup units keep downtime short.
